Upcoming Events

-August-mid-October 2023: Listening Sessions: Each faith community & neighborhood network holds listening sessions- a time specifically dedicated to sharing our stories surrounding the most pressing problems facing our community. Listening sessions are usually held in leaders' homes, or at congregational buildings. Your team leader will soon be in touch about the date/time of your listening session. 

-October 30, 2023: Community Problems Assembly. 6:30-8pm, Trinity Lutheran Church (1245 New Hampshire St.): After a community-wide listening process engaging over 400 people, we gather to choose and re-affirm priority issues for our organization. 

-December 3, 2023: Research Kickoff. 2-5:00pm, First UMC, Downtown Campus (946 Vermont St): Members will gather in teams for each of our issue areas. We decide which questions we would like to have answered during the research process & brainstorm what community stakeholders we should meet with. 

-April 4, 2024: Solutions Briefing. 6:30-8pm, St. John's Catholic School (1208 Kentucky St.): After 5 months of citizen-led research, we gather to learn the proposed solutions and begin the process of mass mobilization.

April 28, 2024: Action Assembly. 3-4:30pm, Lied Center (1600 Stewart Dr). We assemble 1,000+ people to show broad public support around issues of justice. We present well-researched solutions to public officials.

-June 10, 2024: Celebration. 6-8pm, First UMC, West Campus (867 US-40). We gather to celebrate the accomplishments of the organization and invest in our future together.
